Last Wednesday was our gotcha day for our adoption of Caleb. He is now officially Caleb Allen Jones! That day was one of pure joy! We enjoyed spending the morning and afternoon together as a family then having a party to celebrate with family and a few friends.
That was a huge relief after over 8 months of waiting. We were both happy! There were some mixed emotions for Megan. I think it became more real to her after hearing we had finalized, that it is done now. We love Megan so much that sometimes it is hard to deal with emotions that come up. All in all it was a good day and we are thankful to have it over with.
